Choosing the Study Design
Choosing the study design
The choice of the study design depends on the question you are trying to answer.
This is where the research question really assumes great importance.
Clarity of thought on the research question will go a long way in choosing an appropriate design; a lack of focus on the question can lead you to choose an inappropriate design.
A wrongly designed study gives you answers that are not reliable or useful.
Not all designs can answer all questions, Not all questions can be answered by a single design.
